Obituary:
Dr. Dennis G. De Neve of De Kalb, Texas, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at a Tyler, Texas hospital. He was 68.

Dr. De Neve was born June 17, 1944, in Montebello, California, to George Frances and Lotus Sheilds De Neve. On August 12, 1967, he was married to Antoinette Kelemen in West Covina, California. He was a retired Vice Principal and held a Doctorate Degree in Education.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, George Frances De Neve, Jr.; and a son, Bryan De Neve.

He is survived by his wife, Antoinette De Neve of De Kalb, Texas; a son, Daniel G. De Neve of De Kalb, Texas; a brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Hilda Jones of Richmond, Virginia; a nephew and his wife, Stacy and Judy De Neve; and many other relatives and friends.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 31, 2012 at Bates Family Funeral Home with Rev. Steve McMichael officiating. Interment will follow at Woodmen Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Bates Family Funeral Home.

Net & Danny - I am so saddened to hear of your loss. Dennis was a kind man whom I will always remember. I can still picture him sneaking pieces of waffles to Kiedus (and us wondering why Kiedus wouldn't touch his dog food). Words fall short of expressing my sorrow for your loss, but please know that you are both in my prayers. I love you both.
