Obituary:
Eunice Fay Durkee passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at her home in New Boston, Texas. She was 68.

Eunice was born September 10, 1943, in Big Spring, Texas, to Floyd and May Jones. She graduated High School in Ackerly, Texas and attended college in New York state. She worked in the Big Spring Courthouse as a stenographer for many years and was a member of First Baptist Church in Ackerly, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and May Jones; a sister, Wanda Minex; and two brothers, Jimmy Jones and Gene Jones.

She is survived by two sisters, Jeannie Wise of Malta, Texas and Lilly Teel of Hobbs, New Mexico; two brothers, Vernon Jones of Jasper Georgia and Steve Jones of Dodd City, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Bates Family Funeral Home with Robby Bates officiating. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in New Boston, Texas.
